The Sunday Funnies

Is Tim Russert is so busy protecting his private park in his tony Washington, DC neighborhood that he doesn't have the time to read the latest news? Why else would a show called Meet The Press completely ignore the growing White House scandal began by Scott McClellan when he gave carte blance access to the President of the United States? At a time of war, no less! The wingnuts think the media is liberal?!

Here's my own contrubution to the Sunday funnies.

Unanswered questions...help blogACTIVE.com

UPDATE: Thank you to comment visitor

Well, the Gannon/Guckert/Bulldog story continues to grow. I'm sure any of you who saw him on CNN last night probably felt as sorry for him as I did...it sure seemed to me that he was flustered and unsure of how to parse his words. Anderson Cooper did a good job of beginning to ask some questions of Gannon...there are, readers, many many more questions about this situation that remain unanswered.

I don't know where it will end...but I know it's bigger than we have seen so far.

HELP blogACTIVE

Is the man shown above with George Bush the same White House "correspondant" who wrote that John Kerry would be the "first gay president"?!

Here's the help I need.
I was sent these two images recently. They have appeared on BartCop and other liberal sites around the web. I'm hoping those people out there with access to videotaped press events at the White House can help locate the footage. From the looks of it, I'm guessing that these pictures are from a video file.

If you have any information on these pictures please drop me a note at tips(at)blogactive.com

Gannon-gate....and why this blog becomes more relevant every day.

Gannon/Guckert's Site as shown on AmericaBlog

We are learning, once again, from the news this afternoon how damaging the closet can be. While millions upon millions of Americans want nothing more than to live their lives in peace and with equal access to the nation's laws, there are those who would rather press hard to keep the closet door shut tight. Raw Story has a great follow-up to the Gannon gate story, coming just on the heels of AmericaBlog's posting of the websites used by Gannon prior to his current "press" gig.

Those very same people, readers, are the people who could possibly be blackmailed into getting just about anything they want from these closet cases.

I have been on the phone with the White House all morning...ABSOLUTELY ZERO ASSISTANCE from anyone.

I've been trying to talk to Scott McClellan about a series of sources I have spoken with and, despite multiple number messages (all recorded on my home system, of course) no response.

Friends, there is nothing wrong with being gay -- it's when the gay people are in positions of power and hiding in the closet that we have a problem. When those very same people use that power ("Hello, Jim McGreevey, please") to do favors for sexual partners we have a really big problem.

Another lying hypocritical pig

The administration's latest propaganda pig,
Lynne Cheney

That lying pig, Lynne Cheney, actually tried to claim on National Public Radio's Fresh Air program that she had not written a novel about lesbian lovers. You listen to the NPR Story here or check out RawStoryQ.com for a great article by Rex Wockner.

In her appearance the second-lady proves she's really no lady at all. Her snappish behavior is typical of the team that brought us Gannon-gate and something we're starting to expect from a woman who is simply unable to be honest with the press.

How the work often begins

I often receive e-mails from readers asking me how is it possible for someone to find out that someone else is gay. It's not as hard as you might think.

Now I'm not going to pass any judgment on this guy (above), but since he put his picture up on the internet, ya kinda have to think he was asking for it. (Jokes, that is)

For more information on the picture and who it is, check out Wayne Besen's entry on it at his newly updated site www.WayneBesen.com.

An Update

No catastrophe, just Abby the Action Cat.

Sorry for the delay in posting to the blog, I've been spending a lot of time on the new site I am co-publisher of, RawStoryQ, the LGBT news website.

If you haven't seen "Q," please check it out and let me know what you think by dropping a note to q@rawswtoryQ.com Once the site is running regularly, I'll be sharing some other exciting sites I'm working on...each to help spread the truth about abuses of power in the government. (As you know, Senator Wayne Allard declared war once again on the LGBT community, so blogACTIVE's work is even more important.)

We are still contacting the many of you who wrote to participate in the action we are pulling together and we'll be in touch with the rest of you shortly.

The site is also in the process of upgrading our computer support systems too! Look for some exciting redesign elements soon.

And.....We're about to report on some news I know will generate a great deal of interest.

Have a great weekend.
