It's the 110th Congress and I need your help
Greetings. The blog got a lot of exposure recently. Yahoo! News do that fantastic profile and then USA Today did a piece on Yahoo's new People of the Web series and included a link to the original piece. If you haven't seen it, click here.
When the site is seen by new audiences, new tips come in, lots of them. I am already hard at work looking at cases I was not familiar with and continuing to work on open cases. I now have reasons to believe there are three new cases in the House and two in the Senate. Additionally, I have received information AND a source interested in talking on the record, of a high level political appointee.
I have also been tipped off on a case involving one of the most successful businessmen responsible for much of the anti-gay political messaging in America. I'll be meeting with some sources in a couple of weeks and hope to report on this case then.
I can't do it alone. I need your help. Last year, this work resulted in media as wide ranging as CNN, FoxNews, the Associated Press and many more (you can see links to the site's media and video here,)
I need to take four trips to meet with tipsters and sources, and, as I gear up for work related to the upcoming political season in the fall, I need to prepare to cover the stories. Without getting too specific, I'll be heading tho three regions in the country. The Pacific Northwest, Deep South, and Midwest. In each of these places I will be meeting with sources who claim to have personal knowledge of activities on persons of interest to this site. With you support, I am confident at least one of these trips will be successful and result in the exposure of hypocrisy at the highest levels of government. Clicking here and making a gift to the blog will help make this research happen.
Regular readers know that I do not ask for contributions very often and only to help with the expenses of the site's investigative work. I hope you will consider supporting the work of BlogActive. Without your help, I can't do the necessary work to continue this the site's mission. I hope you will believe in its importance enough to make a donation today.
Thanks!
