We need a Drama Queen to sort this out...
From time to time, I've invited guest bloggers to come on board and focus on issues of interest to BlogActive readers. This Patrick McHenry mess is growing by the day...and there are connections to a lot of gay people. There have been a ton of both rumors and facts flying around and with everything going on with Craig, I just have not had much time to dedicate to this story.Take all the information out there and put it in a graphic and it looks like this:
Since so many of you have written to me about this, I've enlisted the help of Leslie Bland to help sort out the whole mess and to keep us up to date on the latest. Leslie blogs on several North Carolina political sites (BlueNC, Scrutiny Hooligans) as Drama Queen, is an actor, political activist and outer of hypocrites.Leslie helped to start the WNCNN (Western North Carolina News Network) to help defeat Congressman Charles Taylor (R-NC). Taylor lost his reelection bid to Heath Shuler (D). After moving to NC's 10th Congressional district last year, Leslie, under her moniker of Drama Queen, founded the site Pat Go Bye Bye. At first, she found it hard to believe the disgruntled Republicans who called and emailed with sordid tales about their own party's future Tom Delay. Now, after 6 months of evidence-gathering, she's convinced it's worth dedicating some serious time to.
